"The Butter Battle Book"

In "The Butter Battle Book," the two main characters are in a constant competition to have the bigger and better weapon than the other character. This book is a symbol of the armsrace that occurred during the Cold War. The Butter Battle is similar to the Cold War because in both Battles, each opposing side was always trying to out-do the other in terms of artillery and weaponry.
